Although he asked the food be made a little more mild than normal, a couple of dishes really packed a spicy punch. Overall the food was delicious, as was the experience. “ Overall, the food quality was amazing. The service there was quick and friendly. The ambience was great because of the well diverse community there. The slight issue that could be improved is having a prayer space for the Muslims during Ramadan. They serve great food and usually that comes with a prayer space which is important during this holy month for those who practice and observe. The parking also was troublesome during Friday evening. ”

“ Zyka - THE TASTE This place is one of the few true experiential dining destinations in the Atlanta MSA. A structure, that was clearly some evangelical church in the 1990s, has been converted into a temple of cheaply priced yet very delicious Indian food. The Taste has service down to an exact science - you order, you wait a short period of time, and your food comes out with a very public announcement in the whole scriptural sanctuary turned banquet hall - whether it's on a plastic "eat in" tray or in punctiliously packed to go bags. The TASTE lives on - the chicken 65, goat curry, aloo tikka, and mango lassi exceed expectations. Only 1 star is removed for the samosas and tikka masala - however, they are still an amazing deal for the price. ”

“ My friends and I have been huge fans the day we found it. The prices are a steal and the portions are filling. The staff have always been friendly whenever we go especially since it is such a casual place. Orders are placed at the front and you grab a table while you wait for your name to be called over the PA system. Some of my favorite dishes are the saag paneer, butter chicken paired with the saffron rice and naan breads. Mango lassi's never let us down and I'm always looking forward to our next trip here! Two parking lots with plenty of spaces to utilize. ”

“ One of my favorite places to get Indian takeout! You can def park and eat here, though it'll be difficult to secure a table when it's lunch hour. You'll see and feel how busy it is if you do eat at this location, which is why I tend to order and take it home. We always get their vegetable samosas, chicken 65, and tandoori chicken. All flavorful with varying levels of spice and delicious! The samosas are huge, and the chicken is moist. One order of vegetable samosas comes with two. The chicken 65 comes with a tamarind sauce and a yogurt one, and I prefer the tamarind with the chicken. I've had their chili chicken, but chicken 65 is the better of the two. Do not let how red it is deter you. It's not as spicy as the curries, samosas, or tandoori chicken. Also, something to keep in mind with the tandoori chicken is that it will dye/color your fingers. It doesn't last past the day, but if it bothers you, you should eat it using gloves or utensils. As for the curries, we really like their chicken tikka masala, nehari, and chicken kalimirch. The chicken tikka is rich and creamy, well spiced and yummy. The nehari has hints of ginger, which works really well with the beef it's cooked with. The chicken kalimirch has a strong pepper flavor and the more oily of gravies I've had. Can't go wrong with getting naan, biryani, and/or saffron rice with any order of curry. Though I usually get their naan, they're all good. I remember having their mango matka kulfi before, and it was good and refreshing. It comes in a clay pot. I don't typically order it, but it's nice. ”

“ The food is good here. Is the quality, the best... Not sure , but still very tasty and plate sizes are big. The restaurant has a lot of space inside for big families And the parking lot is huge so plenty of people can come. They have a well established System for you to order at the front desk. They even have a pick up line outside for when you are just coming in picking up your order and leave. Very fast and efficient business. There is not much for table service. You get your food sit down and eat. ”

“ WINNER WINNER CHICKEN 65 DINNER | my best friends were APPALLED that I had never been to Zyka so off we went to dinner to try some of their favorites. I have never seen them brainstorm the way they did to piece together our feast. Once decided, they headed to the counter to order us TWO orders of Chicken 65, Butter Chicken, Malai Kofta, Nehari, Mutton Biryani and plenty of naan. And of course mango lassi to cool our spicy tongues. The meal ended with dessert: rabdi, rasmalai & matka kulfi (pistachio, mango and malai flavors). My favorite bites were the Chicken 65 and the Mutton Biryani. I did enjoy the malai kofta, nehari and butter chicken, too. And the matka kulfi were all great ways to end the meal. I can't wait to come back again soon - with or without my friends LOL now that I know what I like and what to order! ”

“ Zyka is an Atlanta institution for Indian food, situated in Decatur. A no-frills place, don't expect anything for service or ambiance. Yet somehow it's the lack of service that gives it charm, and the portions and flavor make up for it. All the food we had was excellent! I will say - the last time I went it was still height of COVID, their dining was closed and it was not a good experience. Chicken 65- a must at Zyka! Excellent balance of crispy, flavorful batter and juicy chicken Nehari- spicy yet satisfying! Tender beef in delicious, thick curry Chicken kalimirch- tasty, probably the closest thing to homecooked Tandoori chicken- very tasty and tender Chicken biryani- excellent flavor, fluffy rice, and a good portion of meat Matka kulfi- a really big portion, a little too on the sweet side Overall, highly recommend Zyka for good Indian food! ”
